I’ve been in the construction world for over 30 years. I actually started out as a contractor, then spent 15 years running a gym. When COVID hit, I shifted back into home projects, starting with small repairs.
One day, a customer asked if I could resurface their deck. It turned out great. Then I did another… and another. That’s when I realized two things: there was a real need for this, and I genuinely loved doing it.
